Two-time Eclipse Award-winning photographer Barbara Livingston will sign copies of her new book "Horses: In Living Color" and her previous release "More Old Friends" on Tuesday, Dec. 8 at the Circa 1840 Restaurant in Georgetown, Ky. The book signing will be from 6:30-8:30 p.m. A portion of the proceeds of the sale of the two books, which were published by Eclipse Press, will be donated to Old Friends Equine, the Thoroughbred rescue/retirement facility founded in 2002 by president Michael Blowen.
Livingston traveled throughout North America in search of the "most uniquely colored equines" for the more than 175 photographs included in "Horses: In Living Color," according to a release from Eclipse Press.
Livingston’s work also has been featured in four previous books: "Four Seasons of Racing", "Old Friends", "More Old Friends", and "Barbara Livingston’s Saratoga", all published by Eclipse Press. Livingston's work has appeared in various magazines as well, including Sports Illustrated, The Blood-Horse, Newsweek, People, GQ, Cigar Aficionado, and on the covers of Vanity Fair and TV Guide.
