Lido Palace, a three-time New York grade I winner, will stand in 2010 at Northview PA near Peach Bottom, Pa. His fee is $3,000.

Lido Place is the sire of four stakes horses, including three-time grade I winner Vineyard Haven. At 2 in 2008, Vineyard Haven won the Champagne (gr. I) and Three Chimneys Hopeful (gr. I) Stakes. This year, he captured the Frank J. De Francis Memorial Dash Stakes (gr. I). In his most recent race, he placed in the Nov. 28 Hill ‘n’ Dale Cigar Mile Handicap (gr. I) at Aqueduct.

A Horse of the Year in his native Chile, Lido Palace was sent to North America to race as an older runner. He won the 2001 Whitney Handicap (gr. I) and the 2001-02 Woodward Stakes (gr. I) in New York.

A 12-year-old Forty Niner grandson, Lido Palace (Rich Man’s Gold—Sonada, by Quick Decision) formerly stood at Lambholm South near Reddick, Fla.
