California graded stakes winner E Z Warrior will enter stud in 2010 at Applebite Farms near French Camp, Calif. The 5-year-old son of Exploit is owned by Ahmed Zayat’s Zayat Stables and will stand for $2,500.
A $1.2-million Barretts March sale 2-year-old, E Z Warrior won or placed in seven of 15 races and earned $238,468 for Zayat Stables. He captured the 2006 Hollywood Juvenile Championship Stakes (gr. III) and the 2007 San Miguel Stakes at Santa Anita,
E Z Warrior placed in three stakes during his career, including the 2007 King’s Bishop Stakes (gr. I) at Saratoga, in which he finished behind Hard Spun and First Defence .
Out of the stakes-placed Carson City mare Carson Jen, E Z Warrior is a half-brother to stakes winner J Z Warrior. He was bred in Kentucky by Gulf Coast Bloodstock.
