Fasig-Tipton Texas Mixed Sale Has 105 Horses

Fasig-Tipton has cataloged 105 horses for the Texas December mixed sale, which will be held at Lone Star Park Dec. 14. The auction will start at noon (CST).

Even though the sale has fewer horses, the quality is still strong, according to Tim Boyce, Fasig-Tipton’s director of sales in Texas.

“We actually have more stakes-winning mares in the 9-11 age bracket than last year,” he said.

The sale will begin with 63 broodmares followed by Texas stallion, Menhal. The single-session auction will continue with 24 weanlings, followed by a selection of yearlings and a horse of racing age.
