Distorted Humor , who ranks second on this year’s leading sire’s list, has undergone a cut in his stud fee. He will stand in 2010 for $100,000, down from $150,000 in 2009. He stands at Bill Casner and Kenny Troutt’s WinStar Farm near Versailles, Ky.
WinStar has kept the fees for Tiznow and Speightstown at their 2009 levels. Tiznow, third on the leading sire’s list, will stand for $75,000. Speightstown, third on the second-crop sire’s list, will stand for $35,000.
WinStar has priced incoming stallion Colonel John at $15,000 and has reduced the fees for Bluegrass Cat ($25,000 from $40,000), Sharp Humor ($7,500 from $12,500), and Spring At Last ($7,500 from $15,000).
