Crafty Shaw Sires First Winner

Millionaire Crafty Shawcame through with his first winner when his daughter Money’s the Object won Nov. 14 at Mountaineer Park. Campaigned by James Wilhite, Money’s the Object won the six-furlong race by a length in 1:14.86.

Bred in Kentucky by Sue Thomas, Money’s the Object is the first foal out of the winning Canaveral mare Lira Lira.

A multiple graded stakes winner, Crafty Shaw (Crafty Prospector--Her She Shawklit, by Air Forbes Won) stands at Douglas Arnold’s Buck Pond Farm near Versailles, Ky. His 2009 fee was $5,000.
