Birdstone's Fee Upped to $30,000

Birdstone  , sire of two of the three United States classic winners this year, will stand in 2010 for $30,000, up from $10,000, at the Beck family’s Gainesway Farm near Lexington. Birdstone’s son Mine That Bird won the Kentucky Derby Presented by Yum! Brands (gr. I). Another son, Summer Bird, took the Belmont Stakes (gr. I).

Gainesway upped the fee for Tapit   to $50,000 from $35,000. Tapit’s daughter Tapitsfly, won the Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Fillies Turf. Tapit’s other stakes winners this year include grade I winners Careless Jewel and Stardom Bound, the 2-year-old champion filly of 2008.

Gainesway dropped the fee for Mr. Greeley. His 2010 fee is $50,000, down from $75,000.

Afleet Alex  - $15,000
Birdstone   - $30,000
Corinthian   - $30,000
Cuvee - $6,500
J Be K - $6,500
Mr. Greeley- $50,000
Orientate   - $10,000
Smoke Glacken  - $12,500
Tapit  - $50,000
Whywhywhy - $5,000
