The Washington Thoroughbred Breeders Association winter mixed sale, scheduled for Sunday, Dec. 6, features the 17-horse dispersal of Doris Konecny’s Czech-Mate Thoroughbreds. Included in the dispersal are two daughters of Washington Broodmare of the Year Whimsical Aire.
Horses catalogued consist of 19 weanlings, 45 yearlings, 16 horses of racing age, and 34 broodmares or broodmare prospects. A stallion share in Free At Lastand one in Matty G also are catalogued.
The sale will be held at the WTBA Sales (Morris J. Alhadeff) Pavilion at Emerald Downs and starts at 1:00 p.m. Horses will be available for viewing starting Dec. 4.
