The 2010 stud fee for grade I winner Nobiz Like Shobiz   has been reduced from $7,500 to $2,500. The 5-year-old son of Albert the Great out of the Storm Cat mare Nightstorm stands at John Phillips’ Darby Dan Farm near Lexington.

“The decision was made after talking with many breeders,” said the stallion’s owner, Elizabeth Valando. “The stallion market has been hit hardest at $10,000 and under, so I wanted to be extremely sensitive to their needs. I feel like at $2,500, Nobiz Like Shobiz offers breeders a real value, while also giving him the best chance to succeed at stud.”
