Full Field in Juvenile Fillies Turf

A full field of 2-year-old fillies, with two also eligibles, have been entered in the $1-million Juvenile Fillies Turf at Santa Anita on Nov. 6.

Lillie Langtry, an Irish-bred daughter of Danehill Dancer, will break from the eight post as the 3-1 morning line favorite. The filly trained by Aidan O’Brien has won or placed in all six starts, with a victory in the Debutante Stakes (Ire-II) to her credit. The filly races for Michael Tabor, Mrs. John Magnier, and Derrick Smith and will be ridden by John Murtagh.

House of Grace, who is undefeated in two starts including the Jessamine Stakes at Keeneland, was made the 4-1 second choice in the morning line for the mile turf test. Trained by Ken McPeek for Magdalena Racing, the daughter of Limehouse   will be ridden by Michael Luzzi.

Beyond those two, four horses — Smart Seattle, Rose Catherine, Tapitsfly, and Unia Tepzia — are co-third choices at 8-1 morning line odds.
