Chitoz, a course-recording-equaling stakes winner, will enter stud in 2010 at Mike Grossman’s Eureka Thoroughbred Farm near Fredericksburg, Texas. His fee is $1,500.

Four-year-old Chitoz (Forest Wildcat--Wichitoz, by Affirmed) won the 2008 Anderson Fowler Stakes on turf in 1:01.85 at Monmouth Park, running the 5 1/2 furlongs in 1:01.85. He placed in two stakes, including the Kentucky Cup Juvenile Stakes (gr. III). Bred and raced by Wertheimer et Frere, he won or placed in six of 17 races and earned $160,931.

Chitoz is a half-brother to 2009 stakes winner Affirmatif. Successful sires Rubiano and Tapit and 2009 Belmont Stakes (gr. I) winner Summer Bird appear under his second dam.
