Millionaire Cosmonaut  , who won graded stakes on dirt and turf, will enter stud in 2010 at Highcliff Farm in Delanson, NY. His fee will be $5,000.

A 7-year-old son of Lemon Drop Kid   bred in Kentucky by Patricia Pavlish, Cosmonaut was purchased by trainer Carlos Martin, agent for $105,000 at the 2003 Keeneland September yearling sale from the Taylor Made Sales Agency consignment.

Racing for Flying Zee Stable, Cosmonaut won or placed in 19 of 36 starts and earned $1,397,723. The turf specialist won consecutive renewals of the Arlington Handicap (gr. IIIT) in 2006-2007, and finished second and third in that race in 2008 and 2009, respectively. He also won the Fort Marcy Stakes (gr. IIIT), Golden Gate Fields Handicap (gr. III), and the Tampa Bay Stakes.

"Cosmonaut is the perfect candidate to sire a versatile racehorse either on dirt or turf," Highcliff manager Dr. Lynwood O’Cain said in a release.
