Raymond Monterio, who worked at William Schettine’s Signature Stallions near Ocala, Fla., died Oct. 20.
Monterio, 62, was driving a truck pulling a trailer to pick up a horse at a local veterninary clinic when he apparently had a heart attack.
“Raymond loved the races, loved horses, and handled any situation on the farm…he was our go to man,” farm manager Bill Bazzell said.
