F-T November Virtual Catalog has Improvements

Fasig-Tipton, which introduced its virtual catalog concept last year for its Kentucky November select mixed sale, has made a number of technical enhancements since then. The improvements can be seen in the virtual catalog for this year’s edition of the November auction, which appears  on the sale company’s Web site: www.fasigtipton.com.

“There’s no quick way to detail its content and function,” said Fasig-Tipton director of client services Max Hodge, who spearheads the virtual catalog project.  “The best way is to go to our Web site and check it out. Pedigrees are being constantly updated; it has fully-linked indices, a flip-page feature, embedded race videos, and a ‘key word’ search engine.  Every part of it is printable, and pages can be zoomed to the most suitable size for individual readers.  And, as an added tool, there is a quick link to e-mail pages to clients and friends.”

The November sale, which has 153 horses entered, is scheduled for Nov. 10, beginning at 5 p.m. (EDT) in Lexington. Traditional print catalogs are available at all Fasig-Tipton offices.
