OBS Fall Mixed Sale Starts Oct. 12

The Ocala Breeders' Sales Co.’s fall mixed sale, which begins its two-day run Oct. 12 in Central Florida, has  688 horses in its catalog. The consignor preferred session, with 290 horses cataloged, is scheduled for the opening day. An open session with the rest of horses is set for Oct. 13.

Selling will begin each day at 10:30 a.m. (EDT).

There are 334 weanlings in the auction, and their sires include Bluegrass Cat  , Rock Hard Ten, Speightstown  , Sky Mesa  , Yes It's True  , Lion Heart, Corinthian  , and Lawyer Ron.  The broodmares in the catalog are in foal to such sires as Midnight Lute  , Harlan's Holiday  , English Channel  , Exchange Rate  ,  Rockport Harbor  , and Birdstone  .
