The Thoroughbred Owners and Breeders Association will hold a Thoroughbred Pedigree and Conformation Clinic Monday, Oct. 12 and Tuesday, Oct. 13 in Lexington, Ky.
The clinic, sponsored by Blood-Horse Publications, will feature conformation presentations and live evaluations as well as pedigree discussions that will include nicking, dosage, outcrossing and inbreeding. Clinic speakers will include Dr. Debbie Spike-Pierce, Davant Latham and Mike Akers. The clinic will feature tours of Dapple Stud, Rood & Riddle Equine Hospital and Walmac Farm. The clinic will begin at 8 a.m. at the Hyatt Regency in downtown Lexington. The registration fee for the clinic is $250 for TOBA members and $300 for non-members and includes all support materials, breakfast and lunch.
