Ford Every Stream Sires First Winner

Pass It Down became the first winner for his sire, Ford Every Stream  , when he won the Oct. 3 Louisiana Stallion Stakes at Louisiana Downs for breeder/owner Stanley Seelig. Pass It Down,  who earned $54,000 in what was his second start, won the seven-furlong stakes by 2 3/4 lengths in 1:24.39.

A Louisiana-bred, Pass It Down is the first foal from the winning Japanese-bred mare Isabella’s Crown (by Forty Niner), whose 2009 offspring is a full brother to Pass It Down.

Graded stakes-placed in Canada, Ford Every Stream (Seeking the Gold—Classic Slew, by Seattle Slew) stands at Val Murrell’s Clear Creek Stud near Folsom, La. His 2009 fee was $2,500.
