Dawn Haden will replace Jeff True as president of United Tote, parent company Youbet.com has announced.

True will resign effective Nov. 1 “to pursue other opportunities,” Youbet.com said in a release. True has worked for the company for more than six years; he first served as general manager of western operations for Youbet.com, then became president of United Tote.

“Jeff has worked diligently over the last 18 months to improve both the profitability and the operations at United Tote,” Youbet.com president and chief executive officer David Goldberg said in a statement. “We very much appreciate his efforts—specifically his focus on the customer, where he has developed a strong base of goodwill—which we will build upon going forward.”

Goldberg said Haden oversaw the “transition and redesign of key administrative and operational systems both for Youbet.com and United Tote—her focus on process improvements and fiscal responsibility is impressive and has contributed greatly to the efficiency and profitability of the company.”

Before joining Youbet.com 18 months ago, Haden spent 12 years working with technology leaders including Orbitz.com, Careerbuilder.com, CIMCO Communications, and J3 Corp.
