TVG's horseracing broadcast lineup this weekend is highlighted by the Sept. 26 Kentucky Cup Day from Turfway Park. TVG announced that former jockey and horseracing reporter Donna Barton Brothers has joined the network and will anchor the Kentucky Cup live coverage. Post time will be at 1:10 pm EST.
TVG announced that Brothers will be part of TVG's coverage of Kentucky racing, regularly reporting from the Keeneland fall meet beginning Oct. 9. Most recently, she worked for NBC Sports as their on-track reporter and racing analyst for Thoroughbred racing coverage. Brothers began her broadcast career at TVG in 1998 and has also served as an on-air personality for ESPN, the Fair Grounds Racecourse, and Churchill Downs.
TVG’s other weekend coverage also includes stakes races from Belmont, Woodbine, and Monmouth Park on Sept. 26-27.
