The Thoroughbred Club of America has selected Catesby Woodford Clay, chairman of historic Runnymede Farm in Paris, Ky., to be the Honor Guest at the club’s 78th annual Testimonial Dinner. The event is scheduled for Sunday, Nov. 15, at Keeneland Race Course. Invitations and details of tickets will be released soon.
Runnymede, which was established in 1867, consists of 365 acres of prime Bluegrass farm land. Clay is the fourth generation of his family to operate the farm.
Among the top horses bred or co-bred by Runnymede have been Agnes Digital, Midnight Cry, Greeley’s Galaxy, Tejano Run, Groovy Feeling, Angle Light, Partez, Terrible Tiger, Miss Blue Eyes, and Stella Cielo.
