OBS Fall Mixed Sale Has 688 Horses

The Ocala Breeders’ Sales Co. (OBS) has cataloged 688 horses for its two-day fall mixed sale in Central Florida. There will be a consignor preferred session Oct. 12 with 290 lots, and it will be followed by an open session Oct. 13. Selling will begin on both days at 10:30 a.m. (EDT).

The 334 weanlings in the auction include the offspring of such sires as Bluegrass Cat  , Rock Hard Ten  , Speightstown  , Sky Mesa  , Yes It's True  , and Lion Heart  . Among the other stallions represented by their progeny are Wildcat Heir  , Chapel Royal  , Corinthian  , and Lawyer Ron  . 

The auction's offerings also will include mares in foal to such sires as  Midnight Lute  , Circular Quay  , Cowtown Cat  , Harlan's Holiday  , English Channel  , Exchange Rate  , Rockport Harbor  , and Birdstone  .
