The New York Breeders’ Sales Company has cataloged 201 mares, yearlings, weanlings, and horses of racing age for its fall breeding stock sale, which will be held Oct. 18 at Saratoga Race Course in Saratoga Springs, N.Y. The auction will begin at noon (EDT).

There will be select session of New York-bred weanlings with 84 horses. Stallions with offspring in the group include Gone West, Elusive Quality  , Songandaprayer  , Forestry  , Forest Wildcat, Grand Slam  , Yes It's True  , Mineshaft  , Sharp Humor,Belong to Me  , City Zip  , First Samurai  , Dixie Union, and A. P. Warrior. Stallions with progeny among the 25 yearlings cataloged include Stormy Atlantic  , Tiznow  , and Henny Hughes  .
 
Mares in the catalog are in foal to such sires as Grand Slam, Afleet Alex  , Smoke Glacken  , Johannesburg, Big Brown  , Harlington  , and Lion Heart.
 
“This is far and above the best group of physicals and pedigrees we have ever cataloged,” said the New York Breeders’ Sales Company’s general manager and director of sales, Todd Venetz.
