Legal Jousting Sires First Winner

Graded stakes-placed Legal Jousting sired his first winner when his son Jousting Prince won Sept. 13 at Fort Erie. A homebred for Cedarcrest Farm, 3-year-old Jousting Prince won the six-furlong race by a length in 1:12.35.

Bred in Ontario, Canada, Jousting Price is out of the Rhythm mare Suzy Queen.

Legal Jousting (Indian RidgeIn Anticipation, by Sadler's Wells) stands at Kingsgate Stud near St. Catharines, Ontario. His 2009 fee was $2,000 (Canadian funds).
