Colonial Downs will host a mixed breed card of horse racing Sept. 13 that includes eight harness races, two steeplechase races, and one Thoroughbred race.

The Virginia track, which just opened for its harness meet, set first post time for 1 p.m. EDT. The first eight races will be for Standardbreds, followed by a steeplechase event, a Thoroughbred race on the turf, and another steeplechase race.

Colonial Downs will offer a special “Mixed Breed Pick 3” on races eight, nine, and 10.
