Grade II winner St Averil sired his first winner when his daughter Goddess Angel won Sept. 6 at Timonium. Goddess Angel won the 6 1/2-furlong race by 5 1/4 lengths in 1:22.05 for owner Costas N. Triantafilos.

Bred in Maryland by Mr. and Mrs. Charles McGinnes, Goddess Angel is the eighth winner out of stakes winner Double Artemis (by Double Zeus).

St Averil (Saint Ballado---Avie’s Fancy, by Lord Avie) stood in 2009 for $4,500 at the Boniface family’s Bonita Farm near Darlington, Md.
