Silent Picture's First Winner Wins by 6 1/2

April’s Picture, the first winner by stakes-placed Silent Picture, won Sept. 4 by 6 1/2 lengths at Retama Park for owner/trainer Danny Pish in his first start. The colt ran the 5 1/2 furlongs in 1:05.09.

Bred in Texas by Vicki D. Helm and Billy J. Helm, April’s Picture is the first foal from the winning Leo Castelli mare April Castelli.

Silent Picture (Grand Slam  —Moving Picture, by Alysheba) stands at Key to the Hills Farm near Boerne, Texas. His 2009 fee was $2,000.
