Prints of Peace Sires First Winner

Prints of Peace came through with his first winner when his daughter Bells of Peace won Sept. 3 at Charles Town. A homebred for Wind n’ Springs Farm, Bells of Peace won the 4 1/2-furlong race by a length in :54.11.

A West Virginia-bred, Bells of Peace is the first offspring out of the winning Shecky Iron mare Shecky’s Bell.

Prints of Peace (Storm Cat—La Paz, by Hold Your Peace) stands at the Funkhouser family’s O’Sullivan Farms near Charles Town, W.Va. His 2009 fee was $1,000.
