Save Big Money to Stud at Mighty Acres

Save Big Money, a multiple stakes-placed son of Storm Cat, has been retired to stud at Dr. Warren and Linda Center’s Mighty Acres in Pryor, Okla. He will stand for $2,500 live foal.

Produced from the multiple grade I winner Tomisue's Delight, a daughter of A.P. Indy who is also the dam of grade I winner Mr. Sidney, Save Big Money was bred in Kentucky by Hilbert Thoroughbreds.

Trained by Neil Howard for Tomisue Hilbert and John R. Menard, Save Big Money won five of 28 starts, with 10 placings, and earnings of $230,934. He was second in the Fort Harrod Stakes at Keeneland and the Ellis Park’s Governor’s Handicap. He was also third in the Buddy DiLiberto Memorial Handicap at Fair Grounds. In 2007, he set the track record of 1:56.09 for 1 3/16 miles over Keeneland’s Polytrack surface.

Save Big Money’s stud fee will be $2,500.
