On the Air: Radio Coverage of Travers

The Horse Racing Radio Network announced it will provide live coverage of the grade I Shadwell Travers Stakes from Saratoga Race Course this Saturday, Aug. 29.

The Horse Racing Radio Network announced it will provide live coverage of the grade I Shadwell Travers Stakes from Saratoga Race Course this Saturday, Aug. 29. HRRN’s two-hour coverage of the "Mid-Summer Derby" begins at 4 p.m. ET, and will include three graded stakes on the undercard -- the King’s Bishop (gr. I), Ballerina (gr. I), and Ballston Spa (gr. II).

Mike Penna and Pete Kules will anchor the HRRN broadcast with Sean Clancy providing paddock commentary.www.horseracingradio.net.www.horseracingradio.net.

In addition to the race coverage, Penna and Kules will also host a special Travers Stakes edition of HRRN’s morning talk show, "The Equine Forum", live from Saratoga on Saturday morning.
