Act of Duty's First Winner Wins by 5 3/4

Act of Duty sired his first winner when his daughter Dance for Zack won by 5 3/4 lengths Aug. 21 at Calder Race Course. A homebred for Robert Dubois, Dance for Zack ran the seven furlongs in 1:27.60
 

A Florida-bred, Dance for Zack is the third winner from three foals of racing age from the winning Devongate mare Poly Pop a Top.
 

Act of Duty (Mr. Prospector--Nuryette, by Nureyev) stands at the Appleton family’s Bridlewood Farm near Ocala, Fla. His 2009 fee was $3,500.
