Gemma's Star to Fanlew in Louisiana

Multiple stakes winner Gemma's Star will stand in 2010 at Kathy Paul’s Fanlew Farms near Sarepta, La. He formerly stood in Florida.

A 10-year-old son of End Sweep, Gemma’s Star won or placed in nine of 31 races and earned $166,305. His biggest achievement came when he won the 2002 Blazing Sword and Needles Stakes in consecutive starts.

Gemma’s Star is out of the Private Account mare Accounting Lady, a half-sister to two stakes winners, including graded winner Exclusive Enough.

Gemma’s Star will stand for $1,000.
