TV, Radio Coverage of 'Million' Program Set

HRTV will broadcast the grade I Arlington Million and two other grade I stakes as part of the Aug. 8 program at Arlington Park in Illinois, while the Horse Racing Radio Network will offer a two-hour broadcast from the track.

HRTV analyst Gary Stevens, a two-time Arlington Million winner (1990 and 1997) will join analysts Caton Bredar and Jill Byrne for on-track coverage. Analysis and commentary began Aug. 5.

The Million is one of three major turf events during the “Arlington International Festival of Racing.” The card includes the $750,000 Beverly D. and the $400,000 Secretariat.

Post time for the Million day card is 12:15 p.m. CDT.

The HRRN broadcast can be heard from 4-6 p.m. EDT, and will include the Secretariat and Beverly D Stakes. Mike Penna and Billy White will anchor the HRRN coverage, with Duane Amos providing paddock commentary.

Live video streaming will be available at www.horseracingradio.net and www.breederscup.com.
