Tattersalls October Book 1 Has 676 Yearlings

The catalog for Book 1 of the Tattersalls October yearling sale in England is available online and can be viewed at www.tattersalls.com. The sale will be held Oct. 6-9, and there are 676 horses in the catalog.

The group includes a Cape Cross half-brother to the English (Eng-I) and Irish Oaks (Ire-I) winner Sariska and an Aussie Rules half-brother to Poule d’Essai des Pouliches (Fr-I) winner Elusive Wave.

Stallions with offspring in the catalog include United States-based sires Arch  , Bernardini  , El Prado, Elusive Quality  , Giant's Causeway  , Lemon Drop Kid  , More Than Ready  , Mr. Greeley, Roman Ruler  , Speightstown  , Storm Cat, Street Cry, and Tale of the Cat.

 “Book 1 of the Tattersalls October yearling aale is Europe’s premier yearling sale, and we are delighted to put together a top class catalogue with a particularly high number of siblings to 2009 classic/group I winners,” said Tattersalls chairman Edmond Mahony.

The print version of the catalog will be available from Tattersalls and Tattersalls’ representatives beginning Aug. 18.
