Steve Castagnola, the director of client development for Taylor Made Sales Agency in Kentucky, is leaving his position to begin his own bloodstock agency, it was announced Aug. 4.
Castagnola’s agency will be called Kempton Bloodstock and will purchase horses at public auction, offer private sales representation, and work with clients on portfolio management and partnership opportunities.
“Taylor Made took a chance on me almost 13 years ago when I applied to be a member of their intern program in January 1997,” Catagnola said. “I am deeply grateful for every opportunity they afforded me from that day forward. I will miss the team and the incredible support I have received over the years. In saying that, I am also very excited about what the future will bring and look forward to continuing to work with Taylor Made in a new capacity."
“Steve has been a visible and key team member for many years and will be missed, however we look forward to working closely with Steve to create many more successful endeavors in the future,” said Mark Taylor, vice president of public sales for Taylor Made. “On behalf of myself along with my brothers, Ben, Duncan, and Frank, we wish Steve all the best with Kempton Bloodstock and are confident he will be successful with his new venture.”
