Bailey Appointed to Penn National Position

David F. Bailey has been appointed assistant race secretary at Hollywood Casino at Penn National Race Course.

The veteran of more than 30 years in the sport began his career as a racing official at Rockingham Park in New Hampshire. Over the next three decades he worked in various capacities at Hialeah Race Course, Atlantic City Race Course, Arlington Park, and with the New York Racing Association. The majority of those years were spent at Gulfstream Park, where his responsibilities included a seven-year stint as director of racing and race secretary from September 2000 until April 2007.

"These are exciting times at this track, with purses at all-time record levels, and David’s knowledge of the business, and contacts in the industry, should fit well with the vision we have to continue
