Woke Up Dreamin's First Winner Wins at Calder

Grade II winner Woke Up Dreamin sired his first winner when his son Waking Up scored by 4 3/4 lengths July 26 at Calder Race Course. Campaigned by trainer Steve Towne and Tony Bowling, Waking Up won the 4 1/2-furlong race in :53.57.
 

Bred in Kentucky by Ro Parra’s Millennium Farms, Waking Up is the first foal out of the Wild Zone mare Native Princess, who is a half-sister to two stakes winners, including grade III winner Tank.
 

Woke Up Dreamin (Holy Bull  --Dreamlike, by Storm Cat) stands at Millennium near Lexington. He stood for $5,000 in 2009.
