North Light's First Winner

North Light  , a 2004 English champion and winner of that year’s Vodafone Epsom Derby (Eng-I) winner, was represented by his first winner when his son Celtic New Year won July 25 at Ellis Park. Celtic New Year took the 5 1/2-furlong race by a head in 1:05.69 for Michael Jawl.

Bred in Kentucky by Frank Stronach’s Adena Springs, Celtic New Year is the second winner from the winning Dynaformer   mare Reggae Queen.

North Light (Danehill--Sought Out, by Rainbow Quest) stands at Adena Springs Kentucky near Paris. His 2009 fee was $15,000.
