Prior to that, she ran second in the Arlington Matron Handicap (gr. III), finished third in the Jenny Wiley Stakes (gr. IIT) at Keeneland, and won the Wintergreen and My Charmer Stakes, both at Turfway Park.
Kiss With a Twist won six of 23 starts, with five seconds and five thirds for trainer Jose Fernandez, and earned $340,524. She was bred in Kentucky by Alfred Nuckols III, Leigh Nuckols, and Stonerside Stable.
“It’s a real privilege to race a filly like her that ran with such determination and never ran a bad race” said Nuckols. "As Jose Fernandez liked to say, 'she always shows up'."
