Strong Hope to Winding Oaks Farm

Strong Hope  , a multiple grade II winner and sire of stakes winner Trophy Collector, has been relocated to stand at stud at Eugene Melnyk’s Winding Oaks Farm in Ocala, Fla. His fee for the 2010 breeding season has not been announced.

The 9-year-old horse by Grand Slam out of the Deputy Minister mare Shining Through previously stood at the Hancock family’s Claiborne Farm near Paris, Ky. for a 2009 fee of $15,000.

From two crops of racing age, Strong Hope has also been represented by stakes-placed Donttellmewhattodo. Through July 15, he had sired 24 winners from 49 starters, with total progeny earnings of $677,269.
