The Thoroughbred Owners and Breeders Association recently announced its annual list of recipients of its state breeder of the year awards. The winners will be honored at an awards ceremony Sept. 10 at Keeneland.
The state breeders of the year, who are selected by their representative Thoroughbred association and honored nationally by TOBA, are as follows:

Two of these 29 winners will be selected as national breeder of the year and national small breeder of the year at TOBA’s National Awards Dinner Sept. 11 at Spendthrift Farm near Lexington.
In addition to the national breeder awards, the dinner honors four regional owners of the year, a national owner of the year and The Racing Game’s new owner of the year.
