Champion Leroidesanimaux was represented by his first winner when his son Marfach won July 6 at seven furlongs at Roscommon in Ireland. Bred in Kentucky by Richard Tod Beckett, Marfach is trained by J.S. Bolger.
Out of Irish group-placed Rhondaling (by Welsh Pageant), Marfach is a half-brother to champion distaffer Gourmet Girl.
Brazilian-bred Leroidesanimaux (Candy Stripes--Dissemble, by Ahonoora) was voted North America’s 2005 champion turf male. He stands for $17,500 at Audrey Haisfield’s Stonewall Farm Stallions near Versailles, Ky.
