Stakes winner One Nice Cat came through with his first winner when his son R Rich E. Rich won June 28 at Arlington Park. The gelding took the 4 1/2-furlong race by a length in :53.86 for owner Richard Ravin.

Bred in Illinois by Dare to Dream Stable Management, R Rich E. Rich is the fourth winner from five foals of racing age from the winning Robyn Dancer mare Smiling Mindy. R Rich E. Rich is a half-brother to stakes winner My Dominick James.

One Nice Cat (Storm Cat—Jewel Princess, by Key to the Mint) stands for $3,500 at Howard and Susan Kaskel’s Sugar Maple Farm near Poughquag, N.Y.
