Belmont Park canceled its ninth and final race June 26 due to a severe storm that brought with it heavy rains, wind, lightning, thunder, and hail, and created unsafe conditions.
 
All win, place, and show wagering on the event will be refunded, and for the purpose of all multi-race wagers, it was treated as an “all.”

Belmont’s card for June 27, featuring Rachel Alexandra’s run in the Mother Goose Stakes (gr. I) is scheduled to get underway at 1 p.m.
