Edited Arlington Park report

Trainer Marie Biancone, daughter of French-born conditioner Patrick Biancone, saddled Kona Stable's Grand Symphony to an upset win in the seventh race at Arlington Park June 14 for the first win of her career.

Jockey Florent Geroux, also a native of France, rode Grand Symphony, a 4-year-old filly, to her $49.40 win payoff. Grand Symphony was the third horse to start for Biancone.

The elder Biancone trained 1983 Horse of the Year All Along, who placed first and third, respectively in the 1983 and 1984 Trusthouse Forte Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe (Fr-I) at Longchamp. He also saddled back-to-back winners of Arlington’s Beverly D. Stakes (gr. IT) with Martin Schwartz’s Angara in 2005 and Gorella in 2006.
