Cause Ur Mine came up with his first winner from his first starter when his son Our Minesweeper won June 13 at Golden Gate Fields in his initial start. A homebred for Art and Betty Suitter, the gelding captured the four-furlong race by 3 1/4 lengths in :46.42.

Bred in Idaho, Our Minesweeper is the first foal from the winning Renteria mare Rents Due.

Owned by Mr. and Mrs. Larry D. Williams, unraced Cause Ur Mine (Giant's Causeway  --Lavender Mine, by Mr. Prospector) stands for $750 at Outback Stallion Station near Caldwell, Idaho.
