Kitten's Joy's First Winner

Grass champion Kitten's Joy   sired his first winner when his daughter Maddie's Odyssey won June 14 at Presque Isle Downs (VIDEO). Maddie’s Odyssey captured the 4 1/2-furlong race by 1 1/4 lengths in :53.24 for R.S.R. Racing Stable.

Bred in Kentucky by Kenneth and Sarah Ramsey, Maddie’s Odyssey is the first foal from the winning Lemon Drop Kid   mare Personal Odyssey.

Bred and raced by the Ramseys, Kitten’s Joy was voted 2004 champion grass male. Kitten’s Joy (El Prado--Kitten’s First by Lear Fan) stands for $20,000 at Ramsey Farm near Nicholasville, Ky.
