Graded stakes winner Midway Road came through with his first winner when his daughter Midif won June 10 at Evangeline Downs. A homebred for Bill and Corinne Heiligbrodt’s Heiligbrodt Racing Stable, Midif captured the five-furlong race by 4 1/4 lengths in 1:00.73.
A Louisiana-bred, Midif is the third winner from three foals of racing age from the stakes-placed Hadif mare Bedif.
