Tattersalls and Newmarket Racecourses in England have revamped the Tattersalls Millions race series for graduates of book one of this year's Tattersalls October yearling sale.

There will be eight races worth £1,750,000 (aproximately $2,860,725 in U.S. funds). They will be for 2- and 3-year-olds and will range in distance from six to 10 furlongs. They will be run over Newmarket’s Rowley Mile and July Racecourses.

The five 2-year-old races will be six or seven furlongs in length. There will be a trio of races for 3-year-olds, one at six furlongs and the other two at 10 furlongs. Two of the eight races will be for fillies only, and three of the 2-year-old races will be “Auction Races” with weight bandings determined by sale price.

Entry fees for the races have been reduced.

Yearlings in book one of the October yearling sale will be offered Oct. 6-9.
