Full Sister to Champion Proud Spell Foaled

A full sister to 2008 champion 3-year-old filly Proud Spell was foaled May 17. Bred by Brereton C. Jones, the newborn filly is out of Pacific Spell and is kept at Jones’ Airdrie Stud near Midway, Ky., where her sire, Proud Citizen  , stands. Pacific Spell is booked to Unbridled's Song  . 

Proud Spell, who was retired earlier this year and bred to Airdrie stallion Indian Charlie, has been pronounced in foal.

Jones also announced that a half-sister to grade I winner Sweet Talker was foaled May 17. The filly is by Airdrie stallion Harlan's Holiday  . Another Vegetarian is booked to Airdrie stallion Divine Park  .
