Southern Image's First U.S. Winner

Grade I winner Southern Image  , whose first winner won in Mexico, was represented by his initial winner in the United States May 14 at Hollywood Park. His daughter Southern Fireball set a track record of :50.67 for 4 1/2 furlongs while winning by 4 1/4 lengths for King Arthur Farms, Michael Lewis, and Robert Masters.

Bred in Kentucky by Woodford Thoroughbreds, Southern Fireball is the first foal from the Carson City mare Hot Moon.

Southern Image (Halo's Image--Pleasant Dixie, by Dixieland Band) stands for $7,500 at the Taylor family’s Taylor Made Stallions near Nicholasville, Ky.
